to close our last autumn session and before the end of year compilation with all the music artists involved since the start on eilean rec. we're glad to host two last new releases on the map, officially released today :
"10 years ago, via an almost obsolete music network, myspace, I’ve proposed to 100 music artists from 25 countries to work on a collaboration piece with me for a self-released project. it has been a fruitful experience and I’m so thankful to all the music artists involved, to have believing in me and my proposition.
now, when I listen all, it’s not totally accomplished, some mistakes, some doubts. mainly, because it was 10 years ago, and at this time I was experimenting music on my own, on my room, since just some few months. and for the most part of us, at this period, it was the same. some months ago, I’ve took the decision to put into the light some of these forgotten pieces of sounds. the ones that were, for me, the most accomplished. there were 116 tracks at the start, and now, 10 years after, 23 tracks have been finally selected, 2 hours of sounds, remixed for the most part of them, and mastered for all. to give a new life to these lost songs, a new light on it. and more than all, without "The Clyde Parker Project", eilean rec. will not have exist.» (monolyth & cobalt / eilean rec.)
All music composed, performed, recorded and mixed by all the music artists involved featuring monolyth & cobalt, in alphabetical order : Aaron Martin / Aporia Bloom / Barbara De Dominicis / BristolArt / Christopher Hipgrave / Danny Norbury / Dawn Smithson / Emma Cooper / Empty Vessel Music / Esther Burns / Evolv / Frédéric D. Oberland / Linda Bjalla (Izumi Suzuki) / Moïren / Olivier Girouard /Ori / Orla Wren / Oubys / Pleq / Segue / Teamforest (Philipp Bückle) / W Von

Kenji Kihara (eilean 81) + Ian Nyquist (eilean 61)
February 01, 2019
to continue our winter session, two new releases are officially released today :
Ian Nyquist - Cuan (eilean 61) a stunning album with a lot of influences and textures. from electronic to dark ambient until post-classical and avant-garde, this is the first physical release from a talented Irish composer and musician that we're excited to introduce.
Kenji Kihara - Dawn (eilean 81) from a Japanese musician based in Hayama, a place surrounded by nature, near to the sea and mountains, giving to him his inspiration to compose somedelicate and glittering atmospheres, sometimes with some beats, oscillating between electronic, ambient and electro-acoustic.
we're glad to introduce our next release which will open the new and last year for eilean rec. (end on December 2019 with the 100th release) with Banabila + Machinefabriek who come back with ‘Entropia’ (eilean 60), their fifth collaboration together.
Michel Banabila and Rutger Zuydervelt (aka Machinefabriek) have been collaborating since 2012, their fifth album 'Entropia' veers into rougher terrain, adding distorted field recordings, bursting noise, nasty jump cuts and an overal sense of chaotic abstraction to the mix. 'Entropia' is definitely one of their more challenging efforts, an adventurous yet coherent sonic journey.
